Monday May 5th

In Richmond:

8:30-9:00 Bring your luggage to the Alice Haynes Room before going to Dhall

9:00 Breakfast in Dhall

10:00 – 10:45 Panel (Child Labor, LBGTQ, Capital Punishment)


Panel Consists of : Ted, Dr. Bowie, and possibly Dr. Datta

10:45 – 11:00 Break

11:00 to 11:30 possibly leave right at 11 and do lunch at chipotle? Make bagged lunch

11:30 – 12:00 Load bus

12:00 Leave Richmond

In Washington D.C.:

Arrive at 2:00

Drop off stuff and back on bus by 2:30

Arrive by 3:30

Take Metro back to the Hotel

Dinner at  6



Tuesday May 6th

8:00- 8:30 Breakfast

8:30-9:15 Clean up/Get Ready for the day

9:15-10:00 Travel to the  American Bar Association

10:00-11:30 ABA Death Penalty Project/Death Row exoneree- Shujaa Graham

11:30-12:30 Travel Back to the Hotel

12:30-1:45 Eat Lunch

1:45-3:00 Reid Maki, Child Labor Coalition

3:00-4:30 Free Time

4:30-5:30 Travel to the Surprise locastion/ Trip Picture

5:30-7:00 Dinner in Chinatown

7:00-10:00 Surprise

10:00-11:00 Travel Back to the Hotel

Wednesday  May 7th (Capital Punishment) 

8:00-9:00 Breakfast

9:30 Depart for International Justice Mission

10:40 (20 minute tour and 30 minute meeting)

11:30 Depart for the Motel

1:00 Lunch in the Mall

Thursday May 8th  (Low Key Morning & Reflection) 

8:30 to 9:30 Breakfast at the nearby park/Pack up suitcases  (Cooks: Blake, Heather, Bryan)

9:30- 10:00 Reflection/Journal Time

10:00-10:30 Group Discussion

10:30-11:00 Pack belongings

11:00-          Drive to


2:00 Load bus in D.C.

5:00 Arrival in Richmond

FYT Packing List:

  1. Bed sheets, pillow and or sleeping bag
  2. Government issued photo ID!!!
  3. Semi-formal dress clothes (khakis and button downs for the guys and modest dresses and cardigans or slacks and blouse for the girls)
  4. Toiletries (tooth brush & tooth paste/ the whole 9 yards, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, soap, sunscreen, lotions, face wash, hair brush, wash cloth, etc.)
  5. Walking shoes!!
  6. Clothes enough for 4 days (in addition to the other specified dress items on this list) [and make them comfortable y’all…there’s nobody around that you need to impress unless otherwise specified]
  7. Umbrella/Raincoat
  8. Bath towel
  9. For service project we must wear long pants and closed toed shoes
  10. Books to read on the bus
  11. spending money $30 would be enough (due to funding a couple of the meals will be on you)
  12. Water Bottle!!!!!!
  13. Hand Sanitizer(public transportation)
  14. Your BONNER FannyPack/ Day bag
  15. Cell phone charger
  16. Sunglasses
  17. Pencils/pens
  18. Cards and or other non-electronic forms of entertainment
