Join students and staff as we acknowledge the recent death of Walter Scott, the unarmed black man who was killed as he ran from police in North Charleston, South Carolina. The informal vigil and speak out will allow community members to come together to pay their respects to Mr. Scott, and other victims of similar crimes. Come to stand together in silence, to speak if you are moved, or to sign a banner of solidarity. Members of the staffs of Common Ground and the Chaplaincy will be present along with student leaders.
