United World College’s Projects for Peace is an undergraduate competition for students to design grassroots “projects for peace.” The competition is open to all UR students, U.S. and international, including seniors, and the proposed project can be undertaken as an individual or a group. The project can be done anywhere in the world including the U.S. and should have a long-term impact. The definition of a project for peace is flexible to encourage creativity and innovation.

Winning proposals will be funded at $10,000 each and implemented in summer 2015. The campus submission deadline is Friday, January 30, 2015 to konsanit@richmond.edu.

An information session will be held on Tuesday, October 28th at 5 p.m. in the International Center Commons.
