Managing Service-Learning Programs for High School Students Summer Job Opportunities

The Civic Education Project (CEP), a leadership and civic engagement program at Northwestern University, is now hiring exceptional leadership team members for our 2014 summer service-learning programs.

Site Directors and Residential Deans provide overall leadership & management of three-week service learning programs for outstanding high school students. Positions are available at various program sites across the country: Berkeley, CA; Chicago, IL and Baltimore, MD. Staff receive a cash stipend, room and board, and training in program & staff management and service-learning & experiential education.

Desired Qualifications
While specific qualifications vary by position, members of the administrative team possess the following experience and skills:
Educational leadership & program management experience
-Background in service-learning; teaching/higher ed; youth development; residential life; and/or camp programming
-Extensive staff management & coaching experience
-Excellent communication & organizational skills
-Strong computer skills
