Documentaries in the Greek social justice film festival

Starting March 24th, and ending April 14th, the UR Roosevelt Institute will host its 3rd annual Documentaries in the Greek Social Justice Film Festival. Over four consecutive Mondays, we will screen four social justice documentaries in the Jenkins Greek Theater, starting at 7:30pm.

The festival schedule is follows:

March 24th: The Central Park Five; featuring special guest speaker, Dr. Natalie Byfield

March 31st: Dirty Wars

April 7th: God Loves Uganda

April 14th: In Organic We Trust

Since each documentary focuses on a compelling issue related to social justice, a panel discussion, featuring a UR professors, students, and community members, will follow each film. Panel discussions will begin at 9:00pm in the North Court Reception room adjacent to the Jenkins Greek Theater, after the end of each film.

Popcorn, cookies/brownies, coffee, and hot chocolate will be available free of charge at both the film and the following discussion. We hope to see you out there!
