. . . . the Bonner Center for Service Learning & Civic Engagement at Carson-Newman University is currently hiring five AmeriCorps VISTA members, to begin a term of service in May.
The Carson-Newman AmeriCorps VISTA Fellows Program is a full-time, one year, post-graduate service program where individuals commit to fighting poverty in behind-the-scenes capacity building work. Our program provides high-impact professional development training that focuses on the enhancement of our VISTAs personal and professional development. Trainings include grant writing, community organizing, board mobilization, volunteer recruitment and sustainability and more. Our program is very team focused and provides a variety of support to help make the best of the service year experience. We are committed to change in our community by developing deep, sustainable, quality community partners.
