Projects for Peace Deadline Extended!

$10,000 in Funding Available for UR Student Projects Focusing on Peace

The United World College’s 100 Projects for Peace is an undergraduate competition for students to design grassroots “projects for peace.” The project can be done anywhere in the world including the U.S. and should have a long-term impact. The definition of a project for peace is flexible to encourage creativity and innovation.

Winning proposals will be funded at $10,000 each and implemented in summer 2014. The campus submission deadline has been extended to Monday, February 3, 2014.

Information about the project can be found on the website at http://www.davisprojectsforpeace.org or by emailing konsanit@richmond.edu.
