Richmond City Health District in need of 100 volunteers! (Dec 9-13)

Dear UR Students,

The Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) will be administered in Richmond Public Schools the 2nd week of December 2013. The survey will be conducted in the City of Richmond to identify and measure why young people use alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and engage in other risky behaviors.  There are many individuals and agencies in our City dedicated to preventing and intervening in the lives of teens, and our efforts would have greater impact if there was a more accurate picture of the behavior patterns of Richmond youth.  Approximately 6,000 middle and high school students will be surveyed during this time.

We need volunteers for one or more 2 hour blocksduring Dec. 9-13th to help administer this survey. A brief training session will be provided to volunteers who will proctor the survey to middle and high school students.  Specific school locations, dates, and times are included in the Doodle calendar below. Please respond to this request by clicking the link at the bottom of this email to determine your availability.  You will be contacted soon after with specific instructions.
