On Friday, November 15, the University will be the host site for a panel discussion led by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. They will be discussing higher education, the need for transparency, providing information about outcomes (how quickly do graduates find jobs), etc. so prospective students and their parents make informed decisions. The questions to be posed to the 7-8 panelists are still being developed and other details being worked out between Mr. Cantor’s and Secretary Duncan’s offices.
The program will be 4:45-5:45 p.m. on Friday afternoon in the International Commons at the Carole Weinstein International Center.
This is an invitation-only event for 40-50 people, please RSVP to Carolyn Martin at email@example.com so that she may add you to the list.
