With passion, commitment, and hard work, you’ll create or expand programs designed to bring individuals and communities out of poverty. In addition to extensive professional development training, VISTA members receive a small living stipend, health benefits, childcare assistance if eligible, and can elect to receive a choice between an educational award of $5,550 to pay off existing student loans or finance future education or an end of service $1,500 stipend.
