“Racial Divisions & the Church in the Wake of the Civil War and Today,” 4/20 (E)

What was happening in American churches after the Civil War? This lecture will help us to better understand the racial divisions that we experience as American Christians today by giving us a clearer picture of this critical period in American Christianity. We will also examine the patterns of Christianity and the redemptive tools it has provided the Church from the Civil War era to today.
