What are the moral imperatives of leadership in the governmental, business, and social sectors? Dr. Iwona Kuraszko will consider whether the conduct of leadership contributes to peoples’ well-being or happiness – or the converse. She will also examine who is responsible for seeking morally acceptable solutions to socio-political ills. Her focus is on leadership in Poland and its unique history, politics, and economic factors.
Iwona Kuraszko is the Zuzana Simoniova Cmelikova Visiting International Scholar in Leadership and Ethics at the Jepson School of Leadership Studies. She is an assistant professor of business ethics at Kozminski University’s Business Ethics Centre and an adjunct professor at Warsaw University. She is the author of “New Social Communication as a Challenge for Responsible Business”(2010), published in Poland. Presentation followed by reception.
