International Baccalaureate, Governor’s School programs could be cut in Richmond

From the Richmond Times Dispatch:

Richmond’s school superintendent suggested curtailing or outright cutting some of the city’s most popular though technically unnecessary school programs — including International Baccalaureate and governor’s school participation — during a Tuesday afternoon meeting of a task force set up by the mayor to identify ways to make up a $23.8 million shortfall in the school budget.
