Study Abroad Advisor, Part-time (Rolling App)

Randolph-Macon College is accepting applications for a Study Abroad Advisor to serve in the Office of International Education.  This is a part-time position (28 hours per week for 10 months and 7 hours per week for 2 months) reporting to the Director of International Education.  Duties of the successful candidate include administering the college’s semester/year study abroad programs to include promotion, recruitment of students and orientation; collaborating with exchange program partners and third party providers; and developing, administering and overseeing study abroad student assessments.  Must have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to interact effectively with students, faculty, and staff.  Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree required plus a minimum of three years’ experience in higher education.  Master’s degree and fluency of a second language preferred as well as knowledge of standards in the field of international travel and risk management issues related to study abroad.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.  To apply, send a letter of application, resume, and the names and phone numbers of 3 professional references all in one attachment to: Sharon Jackson, Director of Human Resources at with “Study Abroad Advisor” in the subject line.  The review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.  EOE
