The Bonner Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) invites you to join us for this week’s Brown Bag Discussion on Friday, February 10: “Community Engagement in Greater Fulton: A Neighborhood Approach.” This discussion, led by Jason Sawyer, community organizer, Neighborhood Resource Center, and Veronica Jemmott, senior program officer, Local Initiative Support Corporation-VA Office, will focus on place-based community practice and engagement, using Greater Fulton as a context. The co-presenters will provide a brief overview of community practice concepts and demonstrate how these concepts have been used to lay the groundwork for sustainable community change. The presenters will engage in critical dialogue with participants, with the goal of learning how community members work together to collectively address expressed community needs.
